Guest lecture: Nutraceuticals in Neurodegenerative Diseases

Participants showed strong interest in the neuroprotective role of nutraceuticals, particularly in Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. Dr. Ajmal presented recent findings on how natural antioxidants, polyphenols, and herbal formulations help maintain cognitive health. Students were engaged in discussing lifestyle connections, diet, and the promise of “food as medicine.”
